Happy Groundhog's Day!!

February is a rather gray, cloudy, cold, blustery month. Groundhog's Day all starts in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. All eyes are on Punxsutawney Phil to see if spring will come early this year; or if we will have to endure six more weeks of harsh, cold, blustery, winter conditions. This year Groundhog’s Day is February 2nd and it is celebrated within the United States and Canada.

Is there any better way to bring in Groundhog’s Day than to throw a party? Liven up the beginning of February with a Groundhog’s Day Party. PartyCheap.com has the right decorations to get you started for your Groundhog’s Day celebration.

Start your party off by decorating with the colors of reds and browns. Blow up red and brown latex balloons; and hold those balloons down with the Chocolate Brown Metallic Wrapped Balloon Weight or the Red Metallic Wrapped Balloon Weight. A bunch of balloons suspended from an balloon weight would make an ideal table centerpiece. Accent your tables with the Red Plastic Tablecovers or the Brown Plastic Tablecovers. Sprinkle a little confetti on your tables for that little extra sparkle.

Hang some Groundhog Day cutouts on the wall, doors, or from the ceiling to decorate for your party. Also include red and brown plastic cutlery, and paper products, like plates or cups. String some red and brown crepe streamers from your ceiling for a festive touch too!

Give your guests hats to wear during the party as a fun way to break the ice. Like our Groundhog Day Top Hat, the Plush Groundhog Day Hat, or the Plush Groundhog Day Headband. Hand out the Red Beads with Groundhog Day Medallion, and the Groundhog Day Stickers as a party favor.

We hope we’ve given you a fun party idea for Groundhog’s Day this year. Regardless of what Punxsutawney Phil sees this Groundhog’s Day; just remember spring is just around the corner!
